NFL Draft Odds 2021

Can’t get enough of the wall-to-wall coverage of this year’s NFL draft? The 2021 draft is over, how sad! Good news! NFL Draft betting props are now available at multiple sportsbooks in preparation for next year’s draft.

Five quarterbacks were selected in the 2021 NFL Draft’s first 15 selections. 2022 may see a similar outcome. As six of seven players on BetOnline’s board for the No. 1 draft, quarterbacks will likely make up a large portion of the selections. Quarterbacks are ranked No. 1 overall. This list features Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler as the leader. He has been projected by several books as both the Heisman Trophy winner and the first overall pick.

Trevor Lawrence, considered a future quarterback prospect by draft gurus and analysts alike, was long considered the most likely pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The NFL draft betting odds will reflect this change.

For now, Rattler is the favorite in betting. However, the next two players are close behind. We expect these odds will change significantly as the NFL draft process unfolds.

The Best of the Rest

Georgia’s J.T. round out the quarterbacks who are vying to be the first overall pick in BetOnline NFL Draft betting props. Daniels (+800), Tyler Shough from Texas Tech (+1800), and Desmond Ridder (+12000). Daniels was a former top recruit. He started over Slovis at USC, before torn his ACL and moving to Georgia. Shough, who is six feet five and five inches tall, lost his Oregon job and moved to Georgia after the 2020 season. Scouts will be enticed by Ridder’s unusual combination of speed and size.

The Kayvon Conundrum

Early mock drafts of the NFL give one player other than a quarterback a chance to be the first overall pick in 2022. BetOnline NFL Draft betting props indicate that Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, who is +275, is the most likely to be selected first overall. Thibodeaux is an elite prospect who has elite size (6-5-1, 260), athleticism, and high production. Thibodeaux could be the latest in a long line drafted players who were born to hunt quarterbacks.

The Best Bets

We are confident that the 2022 NFL Draft betting props will see a quarterback taken first overall. Thibodeaux may be great, but there’s too much talent at quarterback to predict any other position in the top 10.

BetOnline’s 2021 NFL win totals betting odds show the Houston Texans to be the worst team in league. They are also most likely to pick the first overall pick in 2022. It is reasonable to assume they will take a quarterback with that pick, as Deshaun Watson’s future looks bleak.

Which quarterback would they choose? Although Rattler is the favorite, it’s better to go with Willis or Howell. These are the type of players that gain momentum and get picked early. Both are excellent bets. Cincinnati’s Ridder, +2000, has the rare combination athletic talents that could lead to a meteoric rise in draft boards if he has an exceptional year. Ridder is likely to be in at least one mock of the first mock.
