It has been a while since the crowning of a new Miss Universe. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Miss Universe competition was delayed. This year’s Miss Universe 2020 competition, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Florida on Sunday, May 16, has been postponed.
Although it may seem confusing, a pageant is still a pageant. The original plan was for the competition to be held at the end of last year, but it was rescheduled for this spring. This is not the first time in 10 years that the competition has been held in the year it was originally planned. Miss Universe 2014 was held in 2015, and Miss Universe 2016 took place in 2017.
For the 2020 edition, Olivia Culpo and Mario Lopez will be your hosts. Lopez hosted the 2007 competition, while Culpo won Miss Universe 2012. Steve Harvey, the host of the competition every year since 2015 will not be featured.
